That was a couple of years ago, 2014. I met up with someone from FV on that cruise. That was also the last time we sailed Carnival. It was a 5 day quickie up to Canada.

BAK - you're cruising on Carnival? Wow! What's up with that? Wink

I'm kinda looking forward to it, I'm booked on the Splendor and hoping its worth the extra money.

I love the spa, and hope to visit it everyday...but who knows guess I'll have to wait and see.

I have never had a Spa Cabin & doubt that I ever will but I will not use the word never - who knows?

Had a spa balcony on the Breeze and interior spa cabin on the Magic. I liked it, used it almost every day, but in both cases got a good price and used it to get me up closer to lido instead of a lower deck. I was on deck 10 on both ships, this level has a private spa entrance that is also convenient to access the Serenity deck.

We had a Spa Cabin on the Splendor.

the elevator to the Spa was broken all week

the Thallossatherapy pool was small, and had a ton of dust and debris around the windows above it. I was waiting for a dusticle to fall into the pool.

the area with the heated benches was too hot, and should have been ventilated.

the men's locker room was dark, and had a terrible odour.

I took a Spa Balcony on the Magic a few years ago. To me, the extra cost was worth it for location (adjacent to the spa, therefore quiet) and amenities (Thalassotherapy pool, steam/sauna rooms, etc) that were included in the price.

I cruise on Splendor in 340 very long days and I'll let you know if the DGF wants to use the Cloud 9 Spa.
