Sailed Norwegian Star two months ago - my second cruise ever and my first Norwegian one. I LOVED it. I had read some things about Norwegian that made me a bit hesitant, but they did not prove true for us. The food was great, service was excellent, I hardly had any complaints. I've said this to others before about it: there's something special about NCL. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but I'd sail them again in a heartbeat.

Norwegian Pearl was my first cruise and I loved it. I enjoyed it so much I went on the Pearl a second time. The two things I enjoy most are the relaxed atmosphere and the large selection of specialty dining.
Also the staff was great.
I will also say I read a lot of reviews before my first cruise. There were many negative but I found them to be all rubbish. I loved being on an NCL ship and I would not hesitate to go again.
