I've been on fire. Its not a good time.

Rating: 0/10.

Would not recommend.

Hope she is better soon.

On occasion, I get frustrated by the adventure.

Its just a matter of moving on, and knowing the next one will be better.

My partner Rosemary and I, were just discussing this over some tea and light refreshments. I was reading the comments to her.

We both had a chuckle Happy

Thanks so much. Rosemary has not been well recently since the incident at one of my Candlelight suppers when the the sleeve of her cardigan caught fire whilst passing some homemade bread to our paying Guests.

My candlelight suppers are for charity and a lot of money has been raised.

As you know, I am delighted to have received many awards down through the years for my work.

Rosemary has always been there, assisting myself and my team to make sure the evening goes off well.

She is very traumatized, bless her, at the moment and is on the mend.

Lynn is thoughtful and caring

Got it. I got the joke part, but you “sounded” frustrated by your adventure. Looking forward to the details.

Good grief AUNTIE...it was a joke...the Captain introduced himself, and from that day forward whatever Italian name we chose is the one we (back in Havana) decided to use...messages over the ships PA can be garbled under the best of circumstances...add in a thick accent and...they all turn into "wha'd he say?" besides if it wasn''t for an assortment of waiters at tables we decided to eat at ALL week (yes they can be "blocked off" for your exclusive use, even with "your time dining" more later on that later...), including two different ones for breakfast and dinner...different views yknow.....and a nice, efficient steward-ess, given the latest restrictions, and, a handful of bartenders back in HAVANA, given THOSE preconditions, it was a lovely average cruise...somewhere else ill go into just a bit more, about what wasn't there...and how to manage crowd avoidance when theres 4k people onboard..and spending unnecessary $$ just to be disappointed,,,,,,back later....

I find this so strange as our Vista cruises (B2B) in January were some of the best to date. It's hard believe the crew has changed that much. Weird.

Re: the accent. Possible trying to let you know the Captain's 'pronoun'. Maybe SHE, or HE, or THEY, or WE, or MAYBE BABY, instead of Che.

Snow here soon too, within hours.

Aspects of the cruise may not have been perfect, but I have yet to be on a bad cruise. Best wishes in organizing your thoughts.

What a charming name.

Lynn is wonderful :)

it was for "crew" maintenance,,,,Capn Ernesto "Che" Machigrossopuente gave the crew the day off.....time to regroup, let the passengers fend for themselves...something along those lines...announcement had to do with them working too hard...thick accent...I might have that completely wrong...anyway...not sure where to start...let me organize my thoughts...the only person to authorize a day off for me IS me....right now its sunny 70 OUTSIDE...which is where I'm going back to...we might have snow in a few days....

I'd love to hear about the "maintenance issue" your ship experienced while in port at Mahogany Bay. You had us blocked in for hours. Rumor has it the Vista's maintenance crew had to seek help, advice, and spare parts from the Spirit's crew. Any truth to that? Probably not, since I'm the one who started the rumor.
