Glad it took you some time as I had the same problem. Once I figured it out, I laughed hard. I blame it on being blond.

I read many comments here with folks using 'DH' or 'DW' often, sometimes other abbreviations as well.

I ALWAYS assumed DH was 'Designated Husband' (assuming a travel partner). Likewise, 'Designated Wife'.

I just search the abbreviation - wonder of wonders, 'Dear Husband' and 'Dear Wife' showed up !!!

I feel so old !!!
