Upgrade or not

Have inside cabin booked on Deck 9.

Thinking of upgrading to Oceanview Cabin, but see they're on Decks 3 and 7.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks..it's on Celebrity Equinox

I agree with Yankee. Check what's around the cabin, for example if you are in the atrium column or near the night club. Also be sure there are cabins above and below. Personally, I need to be able to see outside and do not plan to ever have an inside cabin again.

You didn't specify what ship, although personally i don't think it matters. The location of the inside cabin relative to other venues would be my only concern. Folks who book inside cabins generally do it for the price, knowing its simply a place to sleep. Can't see spending much time in one, frankly. Upgrading generally means you "may" do it at a bargain price, but usually with no input whatsoever as to location. You could wind up under a dining room, or casino or pool deck. Not good. Thats no upgrade. Same rule actually applies to virtually all so-called "upgrades" everywhere....EXERCISE CAUTION.
