Upgrade email?

I just got an email from Carnival that I quality for an upgrade. I'm 34 days out. Is this normal? I'm a little wary about it. The email had my booking number, but when I select, it wants me to put in a credit card number. I've already paid in full for everything. I don't want to get screwed with a scam. Thoughts? You think this is okay?

I wonder if the OP decided to get the upgrade. We didn't hear back...

Heres to hoping that the upgrade fairy is offering you a good one

It sounds ligit but why not call and give the CC # if you wish to upgrade over the phone. This way YOU are making the contact. We get these emails all the time shortly before sailing. Our TA also emails these offers to us. They are less expensive than if you took the higher category upfront. I rarely do the upgrade but others jump on them.

Usually the upgrade emails are okay, I got one and did it online. They needed my credit card number to bill me for the upgrade. I'm happy you did it, you and your daughter are going to have a wonderful time.

That sounds great! You and your daughter will have a fantastic time.

Wonderful! Enjoy your trip!

Sounds good! That's great you can do something special like that for your daughter. Only a month away, Whoo-Hoo!!!

Happy

Great news! I got my upgrade! It is on a lower level, but I'm not complaining because I have a window and a little bit bigger room. AND was able to snag "Your Time Dining" too. This is going to be a great graduation present for my daughter. Mother/Daughter trip can't get here soon enough!! Thanks for all the advise.

Let us know how it goes Rampy94. Hope you have a nice cruise.

I also think it's legit, but of they have asked for your credit card, it's so they can bill you for the upgrade. Getting an upgrade doesn't mean it's a FREE upgrade. We've been called twice and both times there was an extra fee so we turned it down.
