Too Many Sea Days

I've concluded that three straight days at sea is a bit too long for me...weather wasn't warm enough to be outside for too long. However I am on day 6 of seeing New England in a minivan with 4 days to go and I so wish I was at sea....people who think a ship is claustrophobic ought to sit in a minivan from Maine to New Hampshire to Vermont. Beautiful as the fall foliage is, give me the ocean any day of the week...just not too many sea days in a row.

My BF would love that! Too bad he wasn't around or cruising when some lines did a cruise to nowhere. He likes the sea days, I don't mind them either as long as I can lay out, or there are good activities around the ship.

Bet you it was a real luxurious ship too!Wink

My DH would find 3 sea days too long as well. I'm not sure what my limit is, but I'd really like to do the Atlantic crossing sometime. I just like to go.... anywhere. I sometimes think there is a bit of gypsy inside of me.Wink

For our Hawaii cruise we had five sea days each way. That's what cruising is all about.

When I was in the service we would be at sea for weeks before we ported for fuel. Try that

I have done a couple transatlantic cruises and we had 7 days at sea, 1 port then 3 more sea days........ I loved it. I was on the Celebrity Equinox and RCI Adventure of the Sea's both larger ships. I think I could do 2 weeks at sea if on a good ship. I like sea days.

Three days would be much for me. But I'd still take over 3 days on the road.

We had 3 sea days to start our last cruise and I absolutely loved them. By the end of the cruise I was wishing for another sea day or 3.

there was a time I was concerned about 8 sea days. I was flabergasted when we realized we were two days from getting of the ship. I do not know what my limit is yet, 8 days went by quick.

As far as the mini van depends who is in it with meBig Smile

Well, the eastern seaboard is incredible this time of year, But I agree with the Mini Van stuff. I will take sea days over that.
