THANKS SIMON, AND CREW

Being just a bit superstitious, mebbe I shouldn't do this, but here goes. For some mysterious reason, when anyone posted on a cruise I joined in ROSTERS, I was never notified of it. Lots of back n forth with the powers that be, and, frankly, they couldn't figure it out, and I gave up. Old news. No biggie. The only reason I joined at all was to keep the countdown clock working. Suddenly, this am, I got not one, but TWO notifications of posts on my next one in ROSTERS. So something happened. Don't know what happened, or who did it, but thanks to whomever!

The site fonts have changed - looks good. Always good to shake things up a bit.

Thanks for that.

Hi Yankee47 I'm looking into this again It works for me and others however for some reason, you are not receiving the notifications. I'm working with our dev team to try and resolve this for you. I'll be in touch.

No Im not. Those ROSTER notifications haven't worked in a VERY long time. I generally don't spend much time on my cell phone at all. I get the forum post notifications perfectly. Its just ROSTERS that doesn't work, and thats no biggie considering how few people use it. Like I said, if it wasn't for the countdown clock I wouldn't bother either.

Hi Yankee47! Are you on the Ship Mate app as well? It has lots of great features and I get better notifications there for booked cruises while I get forum post notifications via email. All part of the merger growing pains I think!

Shhh the gremlins will hear you .....

It happened twice... it could happen again. Surprised

Knew it was too good to be true..someone posted a comment at 929 this AM...no notification...In a changing world, its comforting to k\now some things never change...

whats strange? that blogs have glitches that even the engineers who actually write code and run em can't figure out? by now, the big server in the sky probably realized its working properly, and is laffin, as in "don't get too used to it"....heheheheh...on the other hand, there's apparently still folks who can't get the s/a clock to work...

Hmmm....that's strange!
