Cept its not a tug...its a barge...no motor...needs a tug to pull it away...AFTER its unmoored from the ship.

Tough call on that one man ... those little tugs can be feisty ....

Here is a photo of the incident. Which ship do you believe would have won the "tug of war"?

Cruise ship passengers are pictured aboard the Celebrity Eclipse while it is delayed leaving from port due to a tugboat strike in Vancouver, British Columbia on Monday, August 29, 2022.

While I understand the frustration from the passengers, I don't understand why they're upset with Celebrity. Celebrity had nothing to do with the strike, and is just as frustrated as the passengers, I'd imagine. They lost money on that strike and they're uninvolved. I don't understand what the passengers expect them to do other than what they've already done.

And I do hope those that lost their luggage somehow find it.

I asked her if she knew of any other bags that have gone on vacation without their owners. She hasn't replied yet, not much cell service I am assuming.

Only Cruise Ships carry covid-19 😉

You can enter Canada by plane, train, bus, car or private boat and no test is required. Only if you enter Canada via cruise ship you must covid test prior to boarding the ship. Grrr.

Yeah. Howsomeever, this can happen in the states too.

Another reason to avoid sailing to/from Canada at this time.

Agree that luggage on the wrong ship is very strange. One must wonder ....
