St Thomas is one of the nicest ports of the Caribbean

St Thomas has a little of everything from shopping to sightseeing to beaches to you name it. It is easy to explore on your own (however if renting a vehicle, remember they drive on the left). Lots of things within walking distance of ship but for most beaches, take an excursion. Any trip on a ferry to St John is well worth it especially if you like snorkeling etc and exploring nature.

Havensight what is that ? CA?

I would love to visit St. Thomas some day, but it won't be on our upcoming cruise.

The deals aren't as good as they used to be. Even the gray market stuff. Some parts look trampled on. Too many people passing through on a weekly basis.

Which port did you arrive at?

I thought it looked trampled on. Too many large ships with too many passengers all getting off at once.

I haven't been there for a while, but I always enjoyed going there.

I love going to St Thomas.

Learned something new! Thanks

Yes, but the site also has a port-by-port listing where you can add specific tips. When I am going to a port I've not been before, I often check those pages.

It is listed under ports and destinations - not sure what you mean as to where it should go??
