Soap in St. Lucia

I'm a sucker for Island lotions and potions but have to say that the Sulphur Soap from St. Lucia is amazing! It cures winter dry itchy skin like no other. I bought the Black Soap (which I haven't tried yet) and the Sulphur Soap - two for $5.

Do you have a product you have bought in a port that was awesome - what was it?

There are some crazy reports linking it to anything from Hepatitis C to a bacterial infection ... it is still banned in the US as far as I know.

I talked to a woman who tried it in Cabo, but it creeped her out so much she changed her mind after just a few minutes of nibbling.

Yikes! I didn't know about that. Guess I'll pass on it. Thought it be fun to try once but I don't want to die yet.

I saw a lot of people doing it in CABO but with a lot of the health risks loudly warned against recently, I pass on that concept.

One of many articles: The tiny toothless carp that nibble away dead, callused skin from the feet of salon customers undergoing fish pedicures may carry bacteria responsible for a variety of dangerous skin and soft tissue infections, British scientists reported today.

Yum that sounds good. When I finally do a Caribbean cruise I will make sure to ask everyone here what the best itinerary is and what I should be looking to purchase.

Anyone here ever done the fish manicure on one of the Caribbean Islands?

My wifey bought me some soap in Hawaii. I must admit it is very nice.

Rum Cake that I purchased in the islands and brought home for all my relatives.

My sister always bring back soap from Hawaii that she finds is great for her dry skin.
