We are sailing on the Vista October 9th/16th. Does anyone know if ships will be sailing at full capacity or reduced capacity? Has there been any sort of announcement? I emailed carnival awhile back, and no specific response. We got the " The situation is fluid" type of reply.

I ask when we boarding as to how many were going to be on the ship. As we were exiting, a crew member ( housekeeping staff member, I assume) was asking how many were boarding that day, and he said 2203. Now, as to the accuracy of those number I as unsure. But our cruise was AWESOME. No waiting in line, got right on the tender at Belize. Empty deck chairs and loungers. Pool only had a few folks in it (never seen it crowded).
OUTSTANDING!!! and THANKS.....BTW, is that BELMAR NJ???
Thank you

When we sailed, there was exactly 2300 aboard. The next sailing, we were told as we were leaving the ship, was 2200. Almost 4000 capacity.
Just curious, who did you (or anybody) ask?
