Royal Caribbean adds expected Check-in Date to Royal App

Royal Caribbean has added the projected date of Check-in opening to the Royal App.

After Countless questions as to When check-in will open, or why Check-in is not available for cruises within 90 days, Royal Caribbean, under the radar without announcement, has added the projected date for Check-in to be available.

It is located under the Personal Info tab (the little human shaped button) within the app. This is via an Apple Device, Android MAY be different.

At this time, it does not appear that there have been any changes made to the regular website.

They've been opening check-in on the date advertised, but then they close check-in for about 2-3 weeks. Then re-open check-in adding vaccination status to the app. Your original check-in is preserved, but on some cruises you're able to alter your terminal check-in time, others not. The app also lets you upload an image of your vax card.

I have to wonder if it's based on whether a ship has successfully completed its test sailing. We are on Liberty OTS on 11/21, so 83 days out and still no word in cruise planner or on the app when our check in will be available. Holding out till later in September I guess. I wonder if the people on the first sailing in October on Liberty have heard yet????

This should be implemented on all lines. This is a great initiative.

My check in was ready as "advertised" - at the 90 day point. Checked in now just wait to do health check day before. (and embarkation test)

Mine actually was correct. The APP check-in came alive at the 90-day point on Oasis. Currently that ship is performing its "test" cruise from Bayonne.

This is great. It should be implemented in all cruises.

That is honestly a great feature. Hopefully there aren't any hiccups along the way.

Has the ship you're scheduled on cleared it's COVID Simulation yet?

Mine doesn't have that and I'm about 90 days out from my sailing!

Nice feature. Hope the dates hold as published. Would also be nice if they update the Celebrity APP.
