It was, they were the last sailing before they started it. They did get picked in Belize to have a random COVID test done, but they were OK with it. Not sure if that will be a reoccurring thing at that port or not.

My folks had THE BEST time on the Vista a few weeks ago.. they said it really was their best cruise so far. Yes, they had to wear masks in the more crowded areas, but they didn't mind. They didn't get off the ship in Cozumel but did in Roatan and Belize.. Muster was fast and easy, they were able to do it before their room was even ready.

That is scary! That shouldn't be happening at this moment.

I heard that an NCL ship Jade had 11 positive tests in Italy a few days ago, but I also heard that it was a "private" cruise

I haven't heard of any. But it is unlikely we would. Things happen on cruises that other passengers might never know. Since nothing obvious has occurred, I am happy to sail as soon as possible.

I have not heard anything about people testing positive on any line other that Royal Caribbean.

At this point, if people test positive aboard RCI, they are sending them home via private chartered flight.

I haven't seen any of that. Hoping for the best!

What I couldn't find, and possibly overlooked, were any reviews mentioning anyone on board getting sick and so on....AP I saw you posting in a few...did anyone mention passengers/crew getting sick?
