Resorting to name calling "Grandpa" nice come back justme ....

Sounds like some people may get the wrong idea and blow themselves up in order to get their afterlife reward.

Well, it’s a cruise line, so of course we’re interested! The statement by CEO Tom McAlpin that their ships would differ from other cruise vessels by their “design, size and program onboard” is certainly intriguing, but isn’t it time they released more details?

Yes I would be very interested. First because it wants to be innovated. I think that it will not be boring cruises to the Caribbean. Hopefully they will offer different experiences than what is offered now. Second because it is very much environmentally oriented. It will be initially at least home based in Miami close to where I live and can reach by car. I want to visit Cuba and they say that they will be going there. I do hope that they will visit European ports, too. I plan to keep my ears open as more information becomes available as to itinerary, costs, deck plans, public spaces, etc... It sounds like there will not be huge buffets and massive dining rooms. We shall have to wait and see. I would love to take a ship tour and lunch when the first ship is put into service - just dreaming.......

Bet it will be way overpriced.

So far, their website reminds me a lot of John Heald:

"Something brilliant is on the way, but we aren't going to let you know anything until next year, at which time we will give an updated announcement that we will let you know some other time."

Who you calling Grandpa. I have no issue cruising on Carnival Big Smile

It all depends on the price point. Will it be priced under the luxury model, the premium model or the discount model?

Oh ye of little faith. Come on Grandpa - dig it!

From what I have read, the target demographic will be younger then I am. Until it is out and a bunch of reviews, I'll stick with the lines I can count on.
