Question about Celebrity's Internet packages

I'm going to take my first Celebrity cruise soon! Big Smile

Looking at the Cruise Planner, I see they offer several Internet packages, including unlimited use for 1, 2, 3... people.

Does this work like RCI, where a 1 device unlimited package can be used by multiple devices, but only one device can be connected at a time?

One packages means one device (at a time). So if you have 1 package, then you totally log off, then you can log in on another device. (Switching between a notebook and a phone for example, or taking turns with your roommate for access).

On Celebrity, If you get internet as a "Perk" with your cabin, both cabin occupants will have access at same time (will be able to create 2 internet accounts.)

We've booked with the internet package included as a perk on our last cruise, and were led to believe that it's one device per person. I could not use my laptop after I had used my phone. We went to the Apple Store where there was connection assistance and the guy said that I needed to just use my phone; the laptop was not going to connect.

We booked our next cruise the same way. I will check and see if two devices can be used interchangeably.

Thanks for the quick response!

Just to preface we did not buy any internet packages or time when we sailed the Summit, but did talk to some others about the package. Yes the unlimited offerings are priced per unique "username" that can be used across multiple devices one at a time.
