I am frustrated (along with the rest of you) that the standard gratuity is rising (again). But at least I'll get the B2B completed before that happens.

As for posts not appearing... I don't understand that situation at all.

As for missing the folks on this site... I would and do. Several who started about the time I did are gone, and I miss them terribly. You are all called "my imaginary friends", at least until I meet you on a cruise (or elsewhere). Fortunately, there are a few who have stuck around (please don't go) and some who pop in occationally. This and Shipmate are my only "social media" connections. My DH calls it my obsession.

Sorry, I didn't mean for that post to sound so terse. I was (am) frustrated that my carefully crafted missive failed to post, and I had to replace it with a brief synopsis. In any event, I'm not planning on going anywhere (except on a cruise in Feb. of course)

I tried to post it a 4th time to no avail. Basically I stated that between their massive debt and the Havana Dock judgement, CCL is fighting for their life and the nickle and diming will continue, not necessarily because of greed or inflation, but for their very survival.

I also stated that since they installed those new air purification systems on their ships we are in effect already paying to breath their air. Of course, I waxed eloquent and a lot of nuance is missed by this hurried post. If this one disappears, I'm hanging it up. If you want more from me I suggest you download the shipmates app on your phone and I'll DM you.

Got the usual email this one started "no thats not it", and something do do with your "brilliance"...I'd get frustrated too...actually, you and a few others are the only reason i bother to post in here...been at it too long and I'd miss them. weird huh? you want info and alot of feedback, theres other sources which shall go nameless. but I just lurk there, or mebbe google hooks me up whilst surfing. they don't suffer trolls..not a bit.

Not surprising but not what you want to see. NCL is also making changes. They all have to pay for the recent Cuban docks settlement.
