Please Note: Smoking is prohibited in all guest staterooms but smoking is permitted outside on balconies.

I cut and pasted this from the Eurodam page. Is this true? I was on a Celebrity cruise in 2012 for my first cruise and the guy below ruined my cruise my smoking on the balcony below mine. I thought smoking anywhere other than the smoking area was not allowed?

I think your on the wrong post. It was about smoking?

From what I copied with HAL and the Eurodam, smoking is allowed on balconies. If I get to go on the Eurodam in May I will make sure what the rule is. My first cruise on Celebrity was not good as the person below my balcony had no regards for the rules and it being my first, I didn't know what to do.

I am so delighted to hear that smoking is banned on all ships even and especially on balconies.

terrible if smoking can continue to ruin others cruises.

It is disgusting and a reflection of the person i suppose who break the rules,

one can imagine their upbringing.

*Hint* trailer park types.

HAL was one of the hold outs for banning smoking on balconies but I thought they had finally done this a few years ago ... but I could be mistaken.

[/quote I found this by looking for pics and info on my cabin on the Eurodam 4173 and saw the posting of the smoking on a balcony. The one thing that might save me from going to jail, is there are no cabins below me other than the dinning room.

JK bout the jail part.Big Smile

Interesting! It is not supossed to be allowed on balconies on Carnival ships, but they don't enforce it (much to my dissapointment). I guess Holland uses different guidelines.
