I don't understand what you are missing. That WAS the page you were talking about, and YES I saw the line about smoking on the balconies. I also note the hasn't been a new review in there for that ship or cabin class in about 3 years. There is NO mention of a date on that page anywhere, so tell me where "as far as you can see this is for 2022". It could have been as far back as 10-12 yeard ago for all anybody knows, and "they" , whoever "they" are never updated it.

As far as being "tech savvy", I can barely pound keys, but learning to Cut and Paste is easybasic. and Try googling it, instructions can be found by looking up...."how to cut and paste"....

This is the page I tried to link and not savvy like you are in such things. If you look at about half way down the page it shows about the smoking on HAL balcony's. And far as I see this is for 2022.

Been trying to find a copy of HALS actual smoking policy buried in their web pages. Can't. Mebbe someone else can. I have come across so-called "updates" here n there, some going back to 2011/2012, as lines were implementing their assorted non-smoking policies amid all kinds of consternation that the sky is falling etc. We quit over ten years BEFORE that, so it was kind of amusing watching it happen on board.. Turns out we got a $600 credit toward another cruise because some character was chain smoking next door. Bumped into the Staff Captain at dinner one night, asked us how we were enjoying the cruise, as usual..except we told him we weren't..and why...he wrote it down...about two weeks after we got home got a snail mail from NCL, still have it somewhere, apologizing, gave us credt for what we paid extra for the balcony (back then)...sorry for the digression, don't want to stray too far..........anyway, I suspect that despite that the comment about "smoking in staterooms" is coming from a link to this site, its probably VERY old. Nobody dug down into those cabin specs to update them. I would be utterly amazed to find ANY cruiseline permitting smoking in their cabins OR balconies.

AND OGW, you had it exactly right...tried to post it this am, couldn't..they were among the last, but it was changed fleetwide in 2017 or so..

If you go to this page and look at the middle of the page it will show where I got the quote from. Cant get a link to copy or move to this page and then all will know what the rules are for 2022 and show I am not trying to be an expert but a straight honest guy..................

I have a feeling you have been around someone who had drank too much and that is how you got your opinion. But I would say I have never came home from being in a bar that didn't allow smoking and smelled like beer or booze like I have with smokers.

I used to smoke and never knew how I stunk till I quit and dont know how the 2 ladies I had in my life put up with the stink when I did smoke. Smokers dont care if it might be offensive to non-smokers.

I dont smoke, but thats the way I feel about people who drink.
