Yeh i know, a ship at sea etc...keeping the passengers informed might have helped...technical difficulties, maintenance issues...the usual catchall which explains nothing.

Can't forget it....we were on TRIUMPH not all that long after it was returned to service...those of you who have been here long enough remember i posted about it...wife said something like "you sure its safe?" when we booked it.and i (knowing everything of course) compared it to a certain town run by the mob once upon a time...kaff kaff...safest place in the world....welp...power burped one afternoon..only for a couple minutes but...couple thousand people said oh s$%^ and gasped all at once,,,you could "feel" it...we were in our cabin at the time..all i could say was we had dinner in the MDR that evening....it was...............well...a strange evening.....lots of dry throats....heheheheh

Better to be stuck at a port where it would be easy to return home than in the middle of the ocean...Remember the Carnival Triumph. My patience would be worn thin and I would have trouble bringing my "Pollyanna" out, but I would do my best to make the most of the situation!
