NCL FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT RECEIVED

Called on 3/12 to cancel upcoming cruise. (No regrets btw.) Got TWO emails a few minutes ago. one for each of us (same email addy.), with two credits, totaling whole cruise less insurance. Only thing missing was a Cruisenext Coupon, which is to go back into our account. Our account itself hasn't been updated yet. Perhaps overnite. I'll track it down if necessary. We have another cruise scheduled for November, but we're in no hurry to use it up. Will wait a few months to use it. No rush. Pleasantly surprised it was done this quickly. Meanwhile, we're "self-isolating"...living out here its not hard to do, and we have plenty of toilet paper hehehe.

Do you really think it's worth it? Hmm, sounds interesting for me, but kind of risky. I would do the other way. More like old schooled. I'd rent a yacht from some good place and then mandatory verify if there are no any problems with it at https://coastaloffshorex-cellence.com/boat-stabilizer-products/. It would make me sure that I can sail through the sea and I won't sink. Also, I can be surely stated that this company I am talking about is a very good one because I collaborate with them for more than seven years and still, I haven't noticed any problems or mistakes from their staff. Strongly recommend!

Got the FCC credits! appeared on our accounts overnite I guess...all that's "missing" on my account is that one CRUISENEXT coupon from the cancelled cruise. But they have it, and we all have the number of it. So we're good! We have one booked for NOV, but not in any hurry to apply the credit just yet.

Yeh, we "used to" as well...used to get an envelope stuck in your mail slot or under the door with all that info. not for several years now, paperless and no delivery..except for the final...its on line or nuthin. somehow two of em gave us the slip..this FCC turned out rather well. caused us to make a bunch of calls and learn something. Those CRUISENEXTs would have expired and we wouldn't have known the difference. BTW, for anyone who doesn't know, they need to be USED before the expiration date, but you can use em to book a cruise way after it, based on their published schedule.

Upon reflection, I think it all depends on whose actual key card you presented to buy em. Yes they all show up on the tv screen for cabin charges, but after that, if each person doesn't have their own account, they become invisible for whomever bought em. Like me. Therefore US....

Great news Yankee. In our case I still have the paper copy of all of the cruise next certs we have ever purchased and used with the numbers on them.

We THOUGHT we had a pretty good record of our CRUISENEXT "coupons" WRONG!! first, the one from the just cancelled cruise hasn't shown up, and according to our THIRD call to NCL, may, in fact not show up. THIS rep says "they're working on it." BUT, we have the number of that one, courtesy the first call, and it got written down in three places!! More importantly, I finally created an account FOR ME. And guess what, found two more CRUISENEXT COUPONS we didn't know we had!! That was a $500 phone call. And there wasn't more than a minutes wait to get a rep. So now we have 5 of them!! Looks like we gotta keep cruising. The new NCL schedule is due out in May, this rep said. So add a bunch of NCL bookings to the 3 we have out there for CCL. Don't know if I can stand it hehehehe. Kind of makes up for the one the countdown clock thinks we're going on. (and yes I logged out of that cruise, but it doesn't seem to matter.)

never even occurred that you did not have an account .. that would explain it. Thanks and a great explanation on the rest of the stuff.

The latest from NCL..had a pleasant conversation this AM with what I took to be an "older woman" who knew what she was talking about...as usual. Didn't wait more'n a minute to get her. Says the "IT" folks are still working on how to actually display those FFC's on your account when you log in. Said she had an official explanation why the insurance wasn't credited but she said "why ruin a pleasant conversation?" !! Wish everyone was that forthright. Additionally, discovered something interesting. "OUR" account is really "HER" account, even tho my name appears on it. When the credit appears, it'll show HER credit only. She said..."folks get divorced and cruise with other people y'know". Bottom line, she said EVERY person who cruises should have their own account and number, and that I should register and put in my existing Latitudes number, She said that missing CRUISENEXT coupon is there, it'll NEVER show on hers, because it just so happens "I" bought it She even read me the number and expiration date. And "MY" share of the FCC won't appear either for the same reason. That's why we got two emails in the first place. HMM...dunno if I want to muddy the waters further and do it. I have the info I need. BTW, typed this before I saw your response above..I have to use IE for NCL, and based on her explanation, it won't matter and fwiw, there's two security suites on this thing, and the cache is cleared and cookies deleted regularly. Its just that I need "my own" account.......OGW?

The client ID thing could be a cached cookie on the computer you are using. It has your wifes ID. Try going in and using the log off option, this should trash the existing cookie allowing you to log in with your creds. If that fails you can always try clearing your cache and old cookies from the browser. Or try a different browse. If you usually use IE try Chrome or visa versa

Happy it worked out to your satisfaction!!!

Thanks for that! don't mind saying, again, pleasantly surprised, altho I don't understand why they withheld the prepaid insurance. must be a reason. oh well...ought to be glad for what we got I suppose.
