Interesting that mere passengers can't get the story straight, let alone interested public (us)...does the lack of transparency or at least accurate reporting surprise anyone?...my money says that a YEAR from now we'll still never know what really happened...she appeared to have been a real joy to sail with....

There is video on YouTube of her being removed from a hot tub after an "Incident" and being escorted away. At one point it appears she breaks free from security and runs, and then the video cuts.

Carnival representative says that she jumped from her room balcony after being escorted back to her room by security. Who is telling the truth?

The investigation will be interesting. I know it is rare that they will handcuff anyone onboard. The video's i observed she was in a bar arm and straight arm wrist hold, not handcuffed.

Tragic

Update: Latest news reports state that Valor security had a 32 yo woman in handcuffs

when she jumped overboard from the 10th floor. The story further indicated that

she hit the side of the ship on the way down and disappeared under the water.

A photo of a crowd of passengers was shown observing a floating life preserver

in the water.

A sad situation indeed. Cruises are for fun and I can only think of how many

lives this tragedy will touch.

Hardly any further info at this time. We don't know it was a 'he' or a 'she' or a child, adult etc.

Also no info if they slipped, jumped, were pushed, etc.

Sorry to hear this. At least they didn't say "fell" overboard.
