When you get used to a cruise line, then things seam out of place on a different line. Kind of like when you get a rental car, it's a car just things in different places. My mom got 4 of the same cars in a row so she would know where everything was and instantly feel comfortable driving it.

When I started cruising I was Loyal to Royal.....now I'm happy on about any cruise line except I try and avoid NCL, I'd rather go on Carnival then NCL or RCL these days if its a 7 night or less cruise. For longer cruises I 'd go with Celebrity or princess. I had not been on Princess for 20 years because of my experience last time on it. I went on the "AuntPinkie 2018" cruise and now I'd be happy to cruise on Princess again.

Another item of interest, the drinks were not as stiff as on CCL.

I wish that they would honor the loyalty program.

Really not bashing RCCL just that they are a bit different, pizza was much better to me and liked the layout of the ship in general. The corridors were much narrower .could not get Danylscwheelchair through without folding it up when stewards or luggage were in the hallways.

Glad you have a good time. Each line is different . One of the things that I like about RCI that CCL does not do is transfer your loyalty level to other lines that they own. So if your gold on RCI you will get the gold benefits on Celebrity or Azamara.
