Love Boat Theme Cancelled

I was looking forward to the Love Boat cruise leaving LA on the 26th. Princess notified cruisers yesterday that the theme portion of the cruise was cancelled due to "scheduling conflicts" with the actors.

With all the COVID, I'd understand the actors cancelling due to COVID, but "scheduling"? That's BS! In order to advertise the theme, prudence would have the actors under contract. If under contract, then there can't be a "conflict." If no contract, then advertising was misleading because without a contract Princess couldn't assure the actors participation. Advertising something that "can change without notice" (as found in the disclosures) is just stupid business.

I think Princess owes the passengers the truth, not the scheduling BS. Will I go on the rescheduled LB cruise in October? I don't know. I don't know if I make plans with a company that may mislead me again.

The new world of cruising.

You mean cruise lines obfuscate, dissemble, have a "lack of transparency"...errr....lie? NAH!!! no way!!!

You can watch the reruns on Pluto TV for free. But how many cast members can still sail? Its been a long time.

Sorry you are unable to go on the themed cruise.
