Yes this beach has some days that are better than others in the way of cleanliness and water clarity. If Disappointed by this beach head inland to the main road look for the #10 jitney sign or a taxi to try out Cable beach (also a free public beach) a few miles down the road pass the new BaHaMar resort. The beach starts next to Sandals Royal Bahamian resort.

Enjoyed the video. Read quite a few mixed reviews on this beach.

Been there recently- it's about a 15 min walk. Even did a YouTube video so you could see what it's like there- It's a nice free beach to hang at.

Great to know! Thanks for replying!

Thanks for your answer!

It's an easy walk (15 minutes). Family and I have walked there a few times. Beach has chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Along the way to the beach there is the straw market, a nice craft beer place (Pirate Republic) and of course everyone's favourite Senor Frogs.

Thanks for responding! I also like staying in the ship at some ports....and have the pool all for myself! ;)

Thanks!

We were there a few weeks ago. BonMike is correct, about a 15 min walk. There were plenty of shops along the way as well.
