Had a great time, especially without any kids. The guests were friendly and fun. Staff friendly, relaxed, and helpful.

Much better than I expected
I enjoyed this cruise better than I thought I would. The ship rarely seemed overcrowded except on a rainy day. The mega ship really isn't my preference and though it didn't seem overcrowded, the amount of people began to wear on me.

Nice ship with great entertainment
Cruise was fine but had issues with drinks not made correctly (evidently NOBODY knows how to make a sidecar). Different prices at different bars for the same drink.
The BEST wine and food pairing with very knowledgeable staff. Great comic, Monique Marvez. I usually don't find them entertaining. Singers were phenomenal. Though food in the buffet tasted good, nothing was hot. I'm my opinion, the grassy area is wasted space. Love the library space. All in all, good cruise. I prefer Summit but Silhouette is a great ship.

Best cruise ever!
This was the most extravagant and magical cruise ever. A once in a lifetime experience. Made all the better on Flora, made all the better by its incredible staff. Regardless of the stars here, it's 5 stars all the way.

Quite the party atmosphere but able to relax among the festivities.
Cruise was fun. Return to standard activities like quest are a welcome change. Food was good in the windjammer.

Gorgeous ship, Amazing crew, Delicious food
Had the best time. This crew is amazing and went out of their way to provide a great experience. (They need to learn to make a blue Long Island though). The shows are nice, food amazing, service outstanding. Ship is gorgeous. I'd go back any day.
Miss-ship didn't provide any info about aqua class and amenities. Wasn't impressed with the Persian Garden.

Amazing weekend cruise
This was a last minute birthday cruise and Royal did it well. Very happy to cruise this ship again. Very happy people are working. It was just a great cruise.

Ok, I got what I paid for
This cruise was taken because the prices were so amazing. But you kinda get what you pay for.. and once on board, you pay and pay. Too many hard sales pitches.. the entire cruise.

So so.. had fun, but.. something had to make our fun
The ship is going into drydock soon and the general staff seem to be on coast mode... Going through the motions. Food definitely isn't Carnival's strong suite. Drinks were delicious, musical entertainment was good, and nice to chat with. Disembarking was made easier with areas blocked off. It was fun, but we often were having to look for things to do instead of having a lot of options. Cruise director biding his time.

Know that the aft side cabins get the hallway door slamming from the hallway exit doors.
Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
I had fun. Glad I went on my excursion-food tour and rum tastings. Don't need to go back. Not a place I'd want to walk around alone.
Scarlet Lady
Go with an open mind. If you're a judgmental prude, sail with someone else.
Independence of the Seas
Don't expect a great wifi experience. It's generally weak and spotty but at times very slow and unstreamable. Service was out 24 hrs.
Freedom of the Seas
Look at the art onboard. The are done really cool pieces.
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas
No where to relax in shade away from the sun. It's a descent start but like the company, needs more work.
MSC Meraviglia
Drinks are awful Starboard side for best view of Ocean Cay and light show. Bring an n95 mask for your own protection, their covid protocols are WEAK.

Time to update the color scheme.. peach and blue went out with the golden girls

Carnival Victory
If you choose aft balcony, deck 8 can get noise from the dragging of furniture across the deck at odd hours, 2;30am and 4:30am and be awakened. Choose deck 7 instead.
