Immigration/Customs isn't really the cruise lines fault...it is out of their control and shouldn't be marked poorly for it.

Customs (both the US and Canadian) can seem like an inexcusable pain in the rear sometimes, but they are a necessary evil to travelling.
Thanks for the tip on clothing to pack - it generally seems to be the first question asked by first-timers to AK.

Nice review, and the pictures are great as well! I will keep all this in mind when planning for a future Alaska cruise. I did not think of the customs with Canadian boarding either. Sometimes, its the little things...
