How Satisfied Are You With Bar Service on Cruises?

I often read that passengers seem to be more dissatisfied with bar service than in the past. Have cruise lines cut back on the number of bartenders or servers serving drinks? Do you notice a decline poolside? Howe long does it typically take to receive your drink when ordered at a bar? What about bar service in the casino? Can we hear your thoughts on bar service? Also, if you do not drink alcohol, how is service for non-alcoholic beverages from the bar?

I usually go to the bar myself, so there's no wait.

On our last cruise, we went as a group of 6. There was one non drinker and 4 rough and ready drinkers and on occasional tippler. We had no trouble at all with service and attitude. Our bar bill for the group?------BOING!!!!!!

The wait time seems to be a bit longer, but once you get it the service is still outstanding, as long as you are buying alcohol.

I have noticed kids waiting for over half an hour for a coke, and the bartender ignores them.Sad
