How does "cruises only" work?

How does THIS work??? I am researching our next cruise, and I read this on "cruises only", Has ANYONE went through this site, if so, do you REALLY get the 1000$ back afterward OR the 750$ onboard spending??Get more deals than the cruise lines offer! Choose up to $1,000 cash back after you've cruised or up to $750 in onboard spending or as an Amazon Gift Card. Plus enjoy a waived deposit. That's the CruisesOnly Advantage!

Good info - thanks for sharing experience

We have twice used the services of one of the online cruise booking sites and were quite pleased with them but we much prefer to do the homework and legwork ourselves now. These sites will sometimes get or reserve blocks of cabins or commit to filling them therefore they will occasionally offer more than what the cruise line offers but not too often. Their cabin rate usually comes out the same but they can sometimes get a few extra perks ... just like the TA that many love to deal with.
