Makes perfect sense. Higher up you should pay more hehehehe.
Captains and above will receive the Elite Bonus -- $15 per notification.
Careful, there -- Cruiseline might start charging $10 per notification!
Now THAT'S where I draw the line. Only I suppose Capts and above would be exempt. heheheh

Never use it myself.

MICH thankyou muchly!!! I think I'll wait a bit on joining rosters for another cruise b4 the next one is completed. no damage done. That second one is aways off in the future anyway. The notifications part could become a pain, since the closer we get, the more likely posting in there will become.
Yankee47, It should work. Double checking with Dev. on first question. Second issue, we are still working on. Hoping to resolve soon.

Yankee47 the fix we put in place in January was for any new forum posts. As you can see, AuntPinkie has a countdown because she added her sailing in March, after the fix was in. The fix works
we just didn't retroactively fix it for older sailings. The last sailing you have is in November which is why you will not see it.
The workaround is to remove your cruise and add it again. You will then see the countdown clock. I hope this helps. Thanks for being a Cruiseline Community member!!
EXCELLENT, and thankyou. as you can see, I did exactly that for GETAWAY 11/8/19 and it seems to work. I have another scheduled for 4/12/20 same ship. If I rejoin THAT ONE, will it automatically start counting down upon completion of the first? I haven't rejoined the second one yet pending your reply. Now then, if you can figure out why I haven't been getting email notifications when someone posts there, that would be helpful too. THANKS AGAIN!
