Was going to put up a link to this story, but theres so many of them, its not necessary...Just GOOGLE any combination of words you like to get the stories...apparently drs, druggists, entrepreneurs, and an assortment of so-called "ordinary folks" are doing it,,,some even get themselves arrested....with any luck,, a bunch of them will actually get COVID, and mebbe even kill a few of them...unfortunately, they'll also infect alot of others along the way......

OKOK..so i called the drugstore I got the shots at back in FEB, and they said "if you got the shots here of course you can get a replacement card"...so....forget the lamination thing...just how many gazillion peeps you think LOST their card? or got it wet, or something or other but need a new one? I grant if you moved someplace and need a new card I don't know how that would work....all I know is issuing a stupid piece of paper that has become THAT important was pretty effing lame to begin with...

All this laminating talk is great if they give you a card that you can use but here in Ontario what you get is a piece of paper much like a cash register receipt after each shot. You can then go online to get an official copy with a watermarked background but that is on a 8.5 x 11 pdf to be printed. That is awful big to laminate and try to carry in a pocket.

Same here...and yes its laminated...the origs sit with our passports...seems almost as valuable...

No one can convince me that between the time the pandemic began (March 2020) to when the vaccines came out (Dec 2020) they couldn't have developed a more secure vaccine verification system than paper cards that are filled out by hand. They could have set up some sort of simple database system with bar code verification. Sure, it would probably have been "hackable", but that still would have cut a huge percentage of fraud as opposed to the individual with a computer and a high end printer.
But hey, what do I know?
I was thinking the same. That's why I carry a COPY of mine with me, because I can see some businesses needing proof of vaccination at some point in the future if I want to receive their services.

Its points like this that make you wonder how hard we are being played.
COVID exists, and kills people. but is it as bad as we've been told? Shouldnt it have been a priority to develop a system to prevent fraudulent card production?
