Dining Reservations

I have a special request meal for during my cruise. In order not to be disappointed how can I make this reservation prior to cruise departure?

Yeah we had no issues at the first available date to make dining reservation, nice and easy.

Looking forward to Cagney's again!

Hey Meyfes! I definitely echo the other folks. You can book on the NCL app or if you go to the cruise on ncl.com and book reservations like you would an excursion (for most restaurants). +1 for cagneys. I don't eat all day to enjoy that 30ish ounce tomahawk I only get on NCL. Be sure to do your homework, it may be cheaper to buy an extended dining package than it is to pay a la carte. On the Encore this past Jan I did food republic which was really good, but I'm looking forward to the seafood restaurant as well as Los lobos. Already booked and paid for!

However, I just reread your post. You can reach out to the reservations line or chat to discuss specific needs. My dad has celiac and needed special accommodations on his last cruise. It was on another line, but the principal is the same. The staff have ways been great, and if they can't help you they can advise who can. Make your special request sooner rather than later to ensure it can be handled.

I booked all my specialty dinner before I sailed on the NCL website. So convenient!

Looks like those "in the know" have answered your question. I have not sailed on NCL, so I had no input. Enjoy your adventure.

Agree with CAGNEYS, and even tho its free for us, I'd still rather go to OSHEEHANS...Sorry, LeBistro doesn't float my bote...portions were (are?) so tiny we needed to eat again right after the show...very frou-frou...not our style but to each his/her own....

I will agree on the escargot at Le Bistro. They literally melt in your mouth. Unfortunately they were the only escargot I was able to find on my last cruise.

One suggestion, on NCL ships, Cagney’s is a must, as is Le Bistro ( ok that’s 2 ). Cagneys is IMHO the best steak house at sea. At least it was pre pandemic. The escargot at LeBistro is to die for.

OGW has it right...making reservations beforehand is easy, once you get the hang of the timing......on the other hand, the more I read your post, I get the feeling you want a "special" meal, not just a specific venue....lets hope thats not what you meant, because, not to be cynical...but...good luck with that. A certain cruise line which shall go nameless has decided they can't even put candles on a birthday cake, because there are no birthday cakes anymore......mebbe they could stick a flashlight on a bowl of icecream...if you rent the flashlight...

Log into MyNCL and see if reservations are available at the venue that you are looking for. Depending on your loyalty status, the restaurant, and or how far out you are booking will come available. Not usually before final payment though. I see you show being 260 days out so that is way too early. Check back after final payment (120 days out) and see what becomes available. Things change frequently so what is in effect for now may not be then.
