CRUISING...WHEN IS IT TOO EXPENSIVE?

Been looking at price increases on just about every line for just about everything..drinks, water, internet, tours, certain meals/packages...and the cruises themselves.....now we all know why....it all happened on "our watch"...no need to rehash the reasons...but is there a point at which you would cut back, or quit? or is it just folks like me, with lots of cruises under their belts, who resent "paying more for less"? (less food, less entertainment, less "stewardship", etc etc)

I do not believe it is just you. While we enjoy the cruising, we are also looking at the All-Inclusive packages that occasionally come up. My wife travels more than I do, so she has gone to more " all-ins" than I have .

For cruises now, 2 factors com into play for us. The itinerary ( something new?) and the price ( with all the perks).

Our habit is to book at least 18 months out, so everything is paid long before we leave.

I agree , lately the cruises have gotten up there, but then so have some of the all-ins.

We are looking into fall of 2025 now, so we will see what transpires.
