I just found this on a local TV station website. Very encouraging!
If anyone discovers what time they are due in port, I might head down and welcome them.

Great news! Another line could offer more variety - the Prima will sail the ABCs from Galveston - to MIA.
Don't forget the crew vaccinations! LOL
I knew they would be leaving port again, a friend of a friend works at the port and my friend told me. They are hanging out about 80 miles out until further notice though.
And as quickly as they came.. they left and are floating around in the Gulf of Mexico.. The Sensation is now en route to Galveston I think.
Like I said, "window-dressing" for the press conference last week.
They probably also restocked some bath tissue and topped off the fuel tanks.

Hmmmmm...... looks like Galveston is getting all sorts of love.
Guess we now know one of the reasons why the boats are returning at this time. Can't have a press conference or public announcement related to cruises without some ships in the background.
Kind of makes sense. The gov of Texas (Abbot) didn't join the lawsuit with the gov's of Florida & Alaska. This is his reward,
Guess I opined too soon.

Goes to show what I know.

I looked for one in 2022 around the same time of year (if ours cancels) and it's back to a more "normal" price, maybe still a tad higher but nothing like those numbers up there.
Our 8-day cruise in July of 2019 was less than those prices above!
Welcome to the "new normal".
WOW! and thats for the equivalent of a long weekend cruise...and not that far either...fortunately we're booked for 5 waaaay in advance, (assuming of course they all sail)....but we knew this was coming......
You can still book a room for the sailing I am supposed to be on in July.. it's outrageously priced now. This is a 5 day to Mexico..
