Cruise director for 4/29/19 sailing on carnival Fantasy

I sailed this ship May of 2017 out of Mobile Alabama with my cousin (it was her first cruise). I don't know the CD's name but we had a great time. I won the at trivia and some other game, received a ribbon and a ship shaped trophy. By the time you read this your cruise will be over. I hope you and your wife had a wonderful time.

Sometimes their activities involve entirely too many garbled "announcements"...especially when you're heading to a port...you just HAVE to visit the stores they say, right?? lil maps, collecting s/a charms...meanwhile, up on the top deck, no waiting for drinks..the hot tub is empty (almost), no waiting for drinks, Jurassic Park (the buffet) can be enjoyed...no waiting for drinks...

Which cruise director is where is not an issue for us. Sometimes I go to one of their activities just to put a face to the title but that is about it.

One piece of advice, don't try to do it all. You will wear yourself out if you try to do everything, besides I don't think that it is possible. Relax and enjoy the experience.

You're welcome..Didn't think I was being a smart ass...I was "just curious" too. I thought you had a name you wanted to follow from a previous cruise. I guess that doesn't apply..So your answer is you really don't care either. I guess..

BD has it right...they either add something, or they're instantly forgettable. I can count on less than the fingers of one hand the number of cruise directors who actually had an impact one way or another. The person(s) who make a cruise the most enjoyable is (are) YOU.

Hey guys this wasn’t meant to be a negative question!!! Was hoping y’all that have been cruising for along time might know where to find out who the cd is gonna be. We can’t wait for our first cruise to set sail!!! So please no negative comments. Happy cruising!!!!

Just be careful that you don't over-research.

I find that I like a few surprises on-board (as long as they are pleasant ones).

Like Yankee said, I don't think I would change or cancel a cruise based on who is staffing the ship. If they are incompetent, I am sure they are quickly replaced.

Thanks pinkie I hope she gets hooked also. Took me along time to finally convince her to go on cruise. Watching people’s cruise vlogs have helped a lot. That’s why I was asking about cruise director on our cruise. Thought we might look em up to get a sneak peek 😎
