Cruise director for 4/29/19 sailing on carnival Fantasy

I looked it up and all I can find issue Kevin signs off 4/25. It doesn’t show who next cruise director will be. We will be on the 4/29 cruise and curious who the cruise director will be? Does anyone know or know another site to look for it besides Air table? This will be wife a s I first cruise. We are excited!! Have been watching lots of you tube cruise videos. Thanks in advance for any info!!

That is the only source I have as well. Hope your wife gets hooked on cruising!

Just out of curiousity, does it make a difference who it is? Unless you happen to know the person personally, its just a name..the cruise directors have to have an "outgoing" personality..they seem to spend a lot of time mingling, and emceeing game shows. Occasionally someone will ask who the Captain is up there...same question...why? if you don't like the name, will you cancel?

Thanks yankee for your smart ass answer. No doesn’t matter who the director will be we were just curious!!

We have found some CDs can make the cruise more fun and some who are mediocre. We have gotten to know a few of them and would enjoy sailing with them again. Wouldn't cancel if it was one we didn't find exciting. Also there are a few folks from the "Fun Squad" (Carnival) that we fully expect to move up to CD someday and I am keeping a watch for that. In fact, one of the Fun Squad is the main reason we booked the Breeze for October (she is switching ships (Glory to Breeze) and will be there starting in July. I would also follow the head waiter from our last cruise if I could. She was fantastic but is considering leaving the ships to start her family.

Thanks pinkie I hope she gets hooked also. Took me along time to finally convince her to go on cruise. Watching people’s cruise vlogs have helped a lot. That’s why I was asking about cruise director on our cruise. Thought we might look em up to get a sneak peek 😎

Just be careful that you don't over-research.

I find that I like a few surprises on-board (as long as they are pleasant ones).

Like Yankee said, I don't think I would change or cancel a cruise based on who is staffing the ship. If they are incompetent, I am sure they are quickly replaced.

Hey guys this wasn’t meant to be a negative question!!! Was hoping y’all that have been cruising for along time might know where to find out who the cd is gonna be. We can’t wait for our first cruise to set sail!!! So please no negative comments. Happy cruising!!!!

You're welcome..Didn't think I was being a smart ass...I was "just curious" too. I thought you had a name you wanted to follow from a previous cruise. I guess that doesn't apply..So your answer is you really don't care either. I guess..

BD has it right...they either add something, or they're instantly forgettable. I can count on less than the fingers of one hand the number of cruise directors who actually had an impact one way or another. The person(s) who make a cruise the most enjoyable is (are) YOU.

One piece of advice, don't try to do it all. You will wear yourself out if you try to do everything, besides I don't think that it is possible. Relax and enjoy the experience.

Thanks :-)
