Counting down your days

If you’re like me, you set up a calendar counting down the days til your next cruise. Do you ;

a) place the #1 on your sail away day ? or

b) place the #1 on the day before your sail date ?

this is why there are variations in countdown clocks btw.

Personally, I place the #1 on the day before we sail

yeahyeah I know......I have too much free time on my hands, but we have been doing this for years. X’ing out every day up til the cruise.

Funnest SDD ever!!

See! I'm not the only one!

BTW: doing the single digit dance!

We count the days till we leave AND the days till we cruise.

I wish there was cruise out of NY that sailed to Hawaii. Alaska too.

Cruising to Hawaii in 9 more days Happy

I am with the day I leave the house as we always have to do a fly cruise and I'm on holiday when I close the door. We always go a few days early. It will be a change next year as Celebrity cruise out of Ireland (Dublin)....

I go with the countdown clocks that go to sail day except at the office. On my white board i have a pic of a ship with two countdown days listed beside it. Actual days which is to the last day of work before i depart and working days which is the above minus weekend days (as I like smaller numbers).

The things some of us do to amuse ourselves and feel closer to sail away.

I put it on the day we leave for the cruise.

It depends on where I have my clock. I actually have both programed. One is labeled 12 days until flight to FFL,the other 11 days until the Carnival Vista (or whatever the cruise and/or event). I like countdowns.Big Smile
