Costly Addictions....

But then there is cruising!!! We welcome people to this addiction with open arms, smiles, and a frozen drink with an umbrella!! Happy

Just a thought....

For some, yes...As long as its "worth it"...applying the knowledge gained over all these cruises has a value...ignore it at your peril. Theres a BIIIIG difference between getting value for your cruising dollar and merely feeding an ego. We've been faced with those choices almost since the beginning years ago. We've even tried suites (twice). Sticking with our well located balcony will do just fine thankyou. Got three more of em coming up. The offset is they're cheap enough (in our view) to allow us to cruise MORE. (More or less the same theory that explains why some folks deliberately choose "insides")..We did choose a HAVANA SUITE on VISTA 2/21 because its got a whole bunch of perks coming with it, and a location we've never done on any ship, with a huge balcony to boot...Doesn't mean we'd do it again. its about twice as much as we'd normally spend. That'd mean I'd be twice as mad if it wasn't "worth it"...

And the higher level of cabin or perks you get - the more you want the next level.

That's a problem??????

I agree, which is why I've started a new service...for a small monthly fee, our trained reps, all ex-cruiseline customer svcs people, will spend as much time as it takes to talk you out of your next cruise...just dial 1-800-CRUZ-NOMO...I hope many of you will join...I have a bunch of cruises booked and need to be paid for....

Personally, I don't think that cruise vacations are appreciably more expensive than other forms of vacation - and in many cases, are overall less-expensive.

The problem is, it's far too easy to keep booking more and more cruises...

I've got three vices to share and will gladly share them: Musical Theater, Dance, and Singing. I also have Ukulele that I love to share...and no I am forbidden from bringing my Ukuleles on the cruise ships!

I also invite people to the Renaissance Festival addiction, so I have at least two vices I like to share....Wink

And loving it

Lol. So true,so very true.

Yes well...you know that special suit you get buried in? the one with the secret special pocket to put your $$ in?? I don't have one....cruise on!!!!!
