Carnival Vista problems

The past couple of cruises the Vista came in late in Galveston, leaving late, and cancelling cruise ports due to propulsion problems. It was in emergency drydock a couple years for the same problem. Anyone taking bets if it will have to return to drydock again? Last update sent, they supposed to have a propulsion specialist come on board to try to fix it. Got a cruise on Vista in July. Facebook posts indicate the Horizon and Panarama having problems too. I guess the Vista class ships were lemons in the propulsion area.

Happy to hearbthat you are enjoying your adventure.

There you go! Those HAVANA cabins are well worth it!...the patios aren't my cup of tea, but got a wraparound the first time on deck 7 overlooking that private area below.....I'd book anything up there almost sight unseen...try THEIR niteclub..HOTHOTHOT!!!!..

My first time on Vista. Having a bit of trouble learning the layout, but have discovered that my favorite hangouts are all on the same deck as my cabin (piano bar, Guys BBQ, Red Frog Pub, steakhouse, sushi, coffee and shake shack, And the Alchemy Bar. The patio attached to the cabin doesn’t hurt either. I have already spent more time on that than I have on the balcony on any of my past cruises.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! enjoy!!! one of my fave ships...been on her many times!!!

Bon Voyage!

Awesome! Have a great trip man. Enjoy.

Just boarded the Vista yesterday. Check-in was quick, easy and on time. Seems to be sailing near capacity and at proper speed. Chef’s table and dinner at the Italian restaurant are cancelled through the end and month.

I will likely do a proper review at the end of the week.

They can also be used for prepaying gratuities.

Sounds like a new cocktail Happy

I had that happen before on RC's Serenade Of The Seas. It was during Hurricane Dori. They arrived in port late, but everything was prorated down for drinking and dining packages, onboard credits were awarded, and we got a night prorated on our next cruise.
