Carnival Raising Prices on Gratuities and Other Items

I am certain you all have heard the buzz.. Carnival is raising prices on tips, drink packages, etc. To me, the amounts are not outrageous, but I know some folks won't see it that way.

The new prices go into effect May 1, 2022

Agreed that most of it is probably necessary due to inflation but geez... $60 per day for a drink package! And I'll bet the newbies are shocked when they find out that if they want to purchase the package that every adult in their stateroom ALSO has to purchase the package. Cha-ching!

Thank God I'm a teetotaler.

Prices on everything are going up in similar jumps ... if that is they happen to be in stock ... this is not surprising .. NCL did this a few weeks ago ... was just a matter of time till the rest of the industry follows.

Agreed...you buy it ahead of a price increase, you're "grandfathered in"...course, you have to pay for it then too....

No real surprise! Everything costs more. Crying

I saw this and immediately bought my cheers package for my November cruise. Every penny counts
