Carnival awefull it TRAGIC

Nov 11-17.  Food in main dining so awefull.  Cold, dried out, tasteless Salmon 1st night.  Ate at Italian 2nd.  Frankly, it was worse.  Had Chk Parm, tasted like pre-formed frozen Chk.  Sauce tasted like watered down tomato puree.  3rd night tried dining again.  Flat Iron steak.  Dear Lord, I did not think it could get much worse.  It did. I ordered Med Rare, it was tough, Rare, cold and tasted rancid.  The only decent meal was eating at Guy Fieri's or their high-end Steakhouse or the Mongolian barbecue.  Chef for dining needs to be replaced.

Ahhh okay, obviously I wasn't there and can't say first hand.  But the other November 11 Carnival Magic review on this sight doesn't mention the food being that bad.  And if it was as bad as you mentioned here I'm thinking it would have been stated.

You sure you aren't exaggerating a bit?  Also was there anything on the cruise that you enjoyed?

I've sailed on Carnival twice and although I didn't care for the crowd I think the staff and crew members were outstanding.

If I could have gotten off and come home I would have.

I have worked in the food industry all my life, I am 53.  Maybe I expect to get what I pay for.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience on the Magic.

We sailed on her in 2016 and food was fine. Not gourmet fare, but tasty.

Sorry you had a bad experience. One thing I always take into account is food is subjective as everyone has their own taste and preferences. When we were on the Miracle in September I found the MDR food to be bland and served cold to warm, others thought it was fine.

It's too bad that you didn't enjoy your meals. I personally found Guy's burgers to be greasy messes that I couldn't finish the 2 times I tried them, so it shows me that taste and enjoyment is very individual. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise and the ports you visited.

I was on Magic in August.  I ate in the dining room once.  In my opinion the food wasn't as bad as this review stated but I will agree it was small and fare tasting.  It's been this way for years now.  The buffet was good and so was breakfast and the steak house was fantastic.
