CARNIVAL GAME IS AFOOT...

Methinks they're going to do it...which is specifically "aimed" at the top tier...and if they do actually plan to "give points" for spending $$, all it means is anyone who spends $$ prior is throwing their money away. Mebbe someone in mahogany row ("the beards" as HEALD calls them) should tell him not to be so forthcoming with his comments..or just mebbe they TOLD him comment this way. These "adjustments" arent anything new, but they are NOT done for passengers benefits. It only seems that way...how would anyone like to be "demoted"? Mebbe not in title, but in perk "adjustments"? The whole thing is a game, invented by the lines, and rigged in their favor.

I have a particular liking for Princess. That being said, I have also cruised on Norwegian. I'm limited as the expertise on this matter. My wife, my son, my ex-daughter in law and my current daughter in law have all sailed on various lines. Their opinions vary, but we are always searching for the next cruise and the loyalty points don't enter into the equation for them. Itineraries, length of cruises, sea days and travel days all factor in at the moment. Next year, a family cruise on MSC is planned and booked, the reason? the availability of the cabins for a whole group and the route.

So I guess, unless some of the "Loyalty rewards" can entice travelers back remains the questions the suits have to answer.
