Totally bummed out, my cruise was cancelled (along with several others.)
"Princess has advised us that as a result of global labor shortages affecting the travel industry, they have regretfully made the difficult decision to cancel a limited number of voyages on Diamond Princess, including this voyage.
As a result, your cruise has been cancelled."

This is sad, but unfortunately not surprising. There's a labor shortage everywhere.
Is it really a staffing issue, or also an equipment issue? Sep, Oct, Nov ?
I am surprised. Wonder what they plan to do with the ship. I cannot see a cruise ship idle when they are so cash strapped.
