Canada dorps testing and all requirements inclusing Arrive Can on Oct. 1, 2022

Canada’s vaccine and mask mandates for travel and use of the ArriveCan app at the border will be dropped on Oct. 1.

The Trudeau government announced the changes to the country’s COVID travel measures in a news conference on Monday morning.

The change means foreign nationals will no longer require an approved series of vaccinations to enter the country. It also means Canada-bound travellers will no longer be subject to random mandatory COVID-19 tests.

The requirement for unvaccinated Canadians to isolate when they return to the country and the mandatory use of the ArriveCan app will also end with the expired order.

I would not expect warm temps. Figure maybe mid 40s to 60 range for day time highs and usually this time of year winds. Layers are best and a good wind breaker. Nights can get close to freezing mark but the water temp will temper that.

We have been looking at the weather for our cruise on the 20th Oct. Any hints.? Thanks g

Thanks, brother.

Just returned yesterday from Canada cruise on HAL. Only 1 itinerary change due to Hurricane Fiona and the ports were in remarkably good condition. Some excursion changes due to locals without power or still recovering, but overall in good condition.

We just returned yesterday from Canada cruise on Holland. Yes, we didn't have to register with ArriveCan but did have to complete everything in VeriFly.

It made getting on the ship quicker and breezed through customs.

I hope the ports are in good shape. Some of the port cities took a beating a week after we were there. I have family just outside of one of the ports and they were 8 days without any power so cleanup has just begun in the past few days

Going to Canada on the 20th, with Princess Caribbean, will see how the changes have been implemented.

It's another positive step!! Huzzah!

Yep. Saw that. Makes cruising a whole lot easier.
