Great Cruise if You're Feeling Old and Moving Slowly. Rating should be 2.0 stars, not 3.0

In response to review, eboyd59 says ...

This site used the ratings of my ports of call to average up the overall cruise rating to 3.0 stars. I personally would give this a 2.0 stars at best. This was the worst cruise that I have ever experienced due to quite a few subpar experiences throughout the trip. 2.0 stars might still be a little generous.

Thanks for posting your review. You had a lot of positive things to say, but I'm not sure why you made the comment about being 80 and moving slowly. There was nothing in your review related to the comment.
Sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your visit to Boston ass much as I did recently in August. I found Boston to be a very walkable city & walk we did. Travel is bad in every large city. I have a tee shirt that says "I survived Boston traffic" so i understand your point. My daughter went to college here & I have visited Boston many many times. I love the city. Nest time if you can, walk the freedom Trail and avoid the congestion.
I’m taking a Crown Princess cruise in 13 days. I’ve heard so many people make similar comments to yours. Thinking I’d rather be in jail. Bigger cells and no possibility of drowning.

Suzanna...... do not go with bad expectations, that was there cruise, not yours. A cruise is what you make of it. Go with the idea that you will have a great time, if your expectations are low then you will be very happy when things go better than you thought.

On my first Carnival cruise I was set to think it was going to be bad food, tacky ship, bad service and full of drunk Walmart shoppers. Turns out I was wrong about most of those (the ship was old school Las Vegas tacky) I had a blast and have done lots of Carnival cruises since then. Go with an open mind and heart, you will enjoy.

Thanks for the review. We are taking a similar cruise this October. First, that 3080, is capacity based on double occupancy. Obviously, some cabins had more than two guests. So the ship wasn’t over crowded, just, crowded. Second, it’s been awhile since we sailed on Princess, but they seem to be slipping. Thanks for posting as much as you did. Our cruise was supposed to be a R/T out of NY, but was recently changed to a 12 day Quebec to NY. One question, how did you get to Quebec?
