I have to ask. Is this an earnest attempt to stem the outbreaks of brawls, or just another attempt to increase revenue? Wink

Only time will tell if this is "policy" or just an idle threat, although as bad as they're hurting for $$$ I'll bet they'll be tempted to slap fines on people who merely talk smack to another passenger or crew member.

Clearly someone didn't like my response......so in brief its a lame PR stunt to be able to say they're doing "something" to keep the PR Dept happy...mechanically it won't work. I still say fix their cards so they can't drink anymore, for the remainder of the cruise. If they're due a refund, give it to em..MINUS the $500 fine..
