I changed back to a generic avatar this am when I realized tons of my posts in the forum appear during a search in google! That is way too out there for me... I abhor Facebook and Twitter and social media in general as I was stalked a few years ago and it was NOT a good thing ...

Reading this thread is good info, and a good refresher concerning posting thoughts on this site (or any web site). Sometimes we get a little too comfortable in our familiar environment. A reminder from DVCruise is greatly appreciated.
To change your display name, from the dropdown in the upper right corner that says “Hi, (display name)” select Settings. On the Settings screen, select the Account tab. You should be able to edit your display name on the Account screen. Then click the blue Save Changes button in the lower right. Hope that helps!
