Arriving at FLL airport - question

We're flying into FLL airport the day of our cruise. Looking for a place to purchase 12 packs of soda to take on board the cruise. Is there any place at the airport or near by?

Isn't there talk or a rumour circulating that cruiselines will soon be disallowing the carrying on of cases of pop?

There is a Publix Grocery store at 1940 Cordova Rd. which is near the ports. That is probably going to be your best bet. Get a sub from the deli if you are hungry, Mmmmm

Walmart on Broward is out of the way.

Enjoy!!

There are a few rite aids and walgreens on A1A where it surrounds the port

I knew someone would be wise enough to have the answer!Big Smile

Walmart at 2500 W Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL

I will try to remember to look around the FLL airport next week when we get there. If I notice anything I’ll let you know. Depending on how you are getting to the port, you may be able to stop along the way. For example Uber or taxi may be willing to wait while you run into store. If you are taking a shuttle, less likely.

Sorry, we're cruising on Carnival Conquest this coming February. Our last cruise we drove to the port so obtaining the 12 packs were not an issue. TIA

Yes, well...I made the same mistake. read your reply and got into "drink policies et al"...the OP didn't ask for any of that. just wanted to know where to buy the stuff at the airport or nearby. I have no idea. do you?

I don't know, hence, "Might want to check your cruise line-" I was simply trying to help.

How dyou know they're cruising on NCL? might be nice if they said what line they're crusing on. If its CCL, the policy is very vague. You can bring a "small quantity" of cans on board, supposedly "in" your carry on bags. They seem to define small quantity as a 12 pack per person. Personally, I think its more trouble than its worth.

But, to answer directly NOTHING "at the airport" is a bargain. AND how did you plan to stop at a "nearby" Walmart anyway? Bang some keys and decide if drink or soda packages are for you. GOOD LUCK!!
