We sail RCL and are allowed to bring 2 bottles 750ml on-board on embarkation day. Anyone have a recommended carrier for the luggage? Thanks.

Anyone recommend good wine carriers?

Most cruise lines will charge a corkage fee, either for personal wine poured in the MDR, or in some cases, even for personal wine only poured in the stateroom.
I don't know if this information is still correct for RCL, given the date of the post, but it appears that RCL charges a $15 corkage fee for bottles consumed in "public spaces":

"What is the corking fee?
Since June 2017, guests who consume their personal wine and champagne in public areas, will incur a $15 corkage fee per bottle. The corkage fee only applies to personal bottles brought onboard on embarkation day.
This means, guests bring their wine to any specialty restaurant, main dining room or bar to have it opened for them will be charged the $15 corkage fee."

Does RCL charge for bringing wine on board?
I make a pretty good wine carrier ... most of the time ... but the downside is that although I may carry the wine well I am not very good at returning it
Thanks for sharing!
Those work.
Actually, I tend to be one of those irritating people who abide by the rules.
Nothing wrong with following the rules. Sure makes things easier.
I thought you were wondering for taking it onto to the ship, not bringing it home. That old thing about assuming.Let us know how the bubble wrap bottle envelopes work, please.
Thanks - thats what we've done in the past. But just a matter of time before we ruin clothes and bag. But I found some reusable bubble wrap bottle envelopes (Amazon) that seal in case of leaks/breaks that are inexpensive and easy to pack. We found some wine in Italy on our last cruise that we purchased without thinking about how to get it back safely. Used the sock, laundry, and ziplock technique and made it without a problem. But was sweating it.
