A few years back my wife and I booked a cruise through and agent and about 5 months before the cruise, the agent contacted us and said that the cruise was cancelled due to the ship being booked by a private party. Come to find out it was large rock bands that had charted the whole cruise. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Anyone ever have the Cruise Line cancel their cruise?

Only happened to us 4 months ago. Not a private party, just a complete change of route. We had booked a 7 night cruise on NCL Epic departing Barcelona and going to the Canary Islands in May 2017. Deposit was paid through an agency and all confirmed. It was only when I was looking at upcoming cruises with NCL that I noticed that this cruise was no longer showing on the schedules. I contacted my agent and surprise surprise, they advised me that NCL had changed their routings. They had though known this for 3 weeks. Not too pleased with this and NCL then sent an E-mail confirming their change. They very kindly offered $50 off another cruise !!!
