Alaska, Bermuda, Caribbean, Mediterranean

Which is your favourite place to visit looking for a nice place to cruise

Alaska is a cruise not to be missed. The views are like nothing else. I went 20 years ago and I still want to go back. It is nice that it is typically a 7 night cruise (good for people working). I would suggest a round trip, when you do the one way out of Seward the bus ride from airport is about 4 hours, makes for a very long travel day.

The Med is my favorite place. You can not go wrong in the Med, the food, the wine, the people, the art, the buildings and the history. I did not have much interest in the area but I got a great deal on a cruise from Rome to Florida. So I figured if I'm already there may as well spend a few days and see the city. Since then I have been back 3 times. Last month I spent a week in Venice and that was not enough time. For me if I do the med I want 3 weeks or more. My favorite way is to take a cruise one way and fly the other. The advantage of this besides getting you 2 weeks on a cruise is you change time 1 hour a day so no jet lag.

I have also done the Caribbean islands. The Caribbean is nice but I'm not much into water activities. I have warm weather and a beach near by where I live. It is a nice cruise but it just lacks the ....... specialness (yes a new word LOL) that you feel in the med. For me a cruise to the Caribbean is about the same as a cruise to Mexico, I'm going to be on the ship not as much for the ports.

We would love to sail New Zealand and the South Pacific but the flight and the cost are not conducive

Lucy you sounds great enjoy

We've only been to the Caribbean so far. Bermuda coming up in October. As long as it's warm, I'm in!!

They are all on my wish list just they are all so far away from New ZealandCrying

All of the above. Alaska, Mediterranean and Bermuda are all on my wish list. Also another tour of the nordic countries is on my wish list. Have only made it so far to the Caribbean on a few occasions.
